Women’s History Month is a great time to highlight the achievements of successful women and inspire others. Medyamax Inc.(NYS) celebrates women’s entrepreneurship during Women’s History Month.
We participated in the “Celebrate Women Entrepreneurs Event” through “Virtual Booth Showcase”. The event was organized by SBA and LaGuardia Community College SBDC and Outreach Center at Queens College. The U.S. Small Business Administration is a United States government agency that provides support to entrepreneurs and small businesses. The Queens-LaGuardia SBDC provides small business advice and counseling for entrepreneurs in Queens County SBDCs are America’s nationwide network of Small Business Development Centers. Partnership Program with the SBA, administered by the State University of New York. Funded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration. SBDCs are hosted by universities. The Tech Incubator at Queens College (TIQC), is supported by the New York City Council as a startup incubator for entrepreneurs.
Event brought together the participants, women entrepreneurs, business leaders and the organizers for networking. Conversations on various of topics took place such as “SBA Emerging Leaders Programs Information”, options for capital access, opportunities and Government Contracting.
Medyamax Inc. ‘Virtual Booth Showcase” stayed open for discussions in the Technology arena. Thanks to brilliant student interns at the Tech Incubator at Queens College (TIQC) have prepared slideshows for each of the companies participated.
